NFL: Chicago Bears at New York Giants Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

**SCORE UPDATE**

Chicago Bears 9

New York Giants 6

—--——--——--——

The Chicago Bears came out on their first possession looking good... Jay Cutler led the offense down the field on a series of good calls by offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains, and closed out with a touchdown pass to tight end Zach Miller.

Of course, on the day the Bears are facing former team captain Robbie Gould, Connor Barth missed the extra point attempt.

The Giants responded in their first possession, marching the offense down the field and getting the touchdown on a Rashad Jennings up-the-gut run.

The Bears defense didn’t play badly, but the Giants had some creative play-calling that kept Chicago unbalanced for much of the drive. And of course, Robbie Gould on cue misses his own point after attempt.

Jay Cutler has a nice touch on the football today, and so far he’s playing very well. Stay tuned...
