**SCORE UPDATE**
Chicago Bears 16
New York Giants 9
—-——————-—
The Chicago Bears came into the Meadowlands looking like a completely different football team in the opening couple of drives, with Jay Cutler leading the offense downfield on the back of good play-calling by Dowell Loggains. Cutler had a great touch to his footballs, the offense played with rhythm, and they moved the ball well.
The Giants offense came out looking good as well, keeping the Bears defense off balance for much of the first half. The front-7 did put a bit of pressure on Eli Manning, but wasn’t as dominant as we have seen at times this year.
Jordan Howard missed one possession with something wrong with his left eye, but Jeremy Langford filled in admirably for a few carries (and a catch). But when Howard returned, he came back showing why he was denoted the starter earlier in the season.
We’ve got half a football game to go... Can the Bears pull off the upset?
This is your Bears vs Giants 3rd Quarter Open Thread... Have fun!
