Bears vs Titans final score: Chicago loses 27-21 in front of numb Soldier Field crowd

The Bears played like a team missing a dozen starters on Sunday.

The Chicago Bears entered Soldier Field on Sunday still looking for their third win of the season, and played like a football team missing about a dozen or so starters.

While they definitely made things interesting with two impressive 4th quarter scores, at the end of the day, the Titans were a better team.

Quarterback Matt Barkley got the Bears on the board first Sunday, connecting with tight end Daniel Brown for the game’s first touchdown. But through the next 2.5 quarters, Barkley and the offense struggled with interceptions, penalties, and dropped passes.

In the fourth quarter, the Bears were down three scores, but a softer Titans defense allowed the Bears to march down the field and find the end zone a couple of times. But more dropped passes, including one in the end zone, were the end of Chicago’s hopes.

The Bears fall to 2-9 on the season.

Final stats:

  • Matt Barkley: 28/54, 316 yards, 3 TD, 2 INT
  • Jordan Howard: 18 rushes, 84 yds | 4 rushes, 43 yds
  • Marquess Wilson: 8 rec, 125 yds, 1 TD
  • Deonte Thompson: 5 rec, 44 yds, 1 TD

At this point, we don’t know when the Bears will get their next win... It could very well be 2017. Stay tuned...
