It’s unlikely that anyone could have imagined a Week 12 match-up between the Packers and Eagles where neither team had a winning record, but that’s where we sit tonight for Monday Night Football. The Philadelphia Eagles are 5-5 and at the bottom of the NFC East, and the Green Bay Packers are 4-6 in third place in the NFC North.
The playoffs are a long shot for each team at this point, but not necessarily completely out of reach. The Packers would have the best shot to make a move in a weaker North division than we’ve seen in a few years, but their four-game losing streak shouldn’t give too much confidence in that actually happening.
In case you missed it, the Eagles got a pre-game shot in on the Packers, via a clever scoreboard dig.
