Bears-Less Sunday: NFL Week 8 Pre-Party Livestream and Open Thread

With the Cubs’ World Series win, the Bears own the longest title drought in Chicago. We’re talking about this and our two-win Bears on today’s WCG Sunday Livestream!

NFL: Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, and for the third consecutive Sunday, there’s no Bears football gracing your television or radio set. Although, when they played on Monday night, they were part of one of the better stretches of Chicago sports in years. The Cubs winning three straight games on the way to a World Series win were just a bit of that, probably.

But either way, thanks to their win over the Vikings on Monday night, the Bears are a 2-6 team and now the proud, or not-so-proud, owners of the longest active title drought in Chicago. Needless to say, that gives us a lot to talk about on this week’s WCG Sunday Livestream.

If you want to join me and my co-host Sam Householder on this week’s edition, there are a few ways to get a hold of us:

  • Right here. No, seriously, look down. You’ve heard “Don’t read the comments?” We have no choice, and we want you to make our comment-reading experience awesome!
  • Over on the Twitch stream chat over here!
  • Over on our Twitters: I’m at @SJS_illini - He’s at @SamHouseholder.

So at 9:30 AM CT (In 30 minutes, so take this opportunity to set your clocks back!), this window lights up. We’ll see you then.
