Week 9 of the 2016 NFL season is coming to a close, and there has been some good football played so far today. Now, we turn our attention to Sunday Night Football, which features two AFC West teams that are tied for first place in their division.
The Denver Broncos (6-2) are on a two-game winning streak, and head west to California to take on the Oakland Raiders (6-2), who are on a two-game streak of their own.
Both teams are tied with the Kansas City Chiefs, in a three-way tie in the AFC West.
The Broncos- Raiders rivalry goes back more than 50 years, but recently, it’s been all Denver. The Broncos have won 8 of the last 9 games, with Oakland winning their last match-up last December by a score of 15-12. Raider fans will remember that game as the day Khalil Mack sacked Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler five times, one of which went for a safety.
Which AFC West team will come out ahead tonight? Stay tuned...
This is your Sunday Night Football Open Thread... Have fun!
