Sunday Night Football Open Thread: Buccaneers at Cowboys

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Dallas Cowboys Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

When you get to this point in the NFL season, the main topic is playoff implications, and tonight’s Sunday Night Football game is no exception. The Dallas Cowboys (11-2) could have won their division and sewed up a first round Bye last week with a win over the New York Giants, but ended up losing 7-10 in a sloppy contest.

Dallas has already clinched a playoff berth, but the NFC East won’t be determined for at least another week.

Tonight, they will be facing a Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-5) team that is also fighting for a divisional title. The Bucs watched the Atlanta Falcons (9-5) thump the San Francisco 49ers earlier today, so the pressure is on Tampa Bay to try to keep pace with a win over the Cowboys.

This should be a good game, featuring two young quarterbacks both coming into their own. Rookie Dak Prescott will try and bounce back from a rough outing last week, and second-year Jameis Winston will try and get back on track after a similar performance versus the New Orleans Saints.

This is your Sunday Night Football Open Thread... Have fun!
