The Chicago Bears entered Saturday’s game versus the Washington Redskins with hopes of ending Washington’s playoff aspirations, but when it was all put on the line, the Bears played like a team that was full of 2nd string, 3rd string, and reserve players all thrust into the starting lineup before they were ready.
We saw a graphic during the first half that summarized the Bears injury woes this season...

And of course, that’s only barely half of it.
The Washington Redskins came out and struck first blood on Saturday, and Kirk Cousins and crew never looked back from the outset.
The Redskins scored points in every period, out-playing the Bears like their playoff hopes depended on it. Washington was faster on both sides of the football, leaving the Bears defense trying to catch up, and the offense unsuccessfully trying to keep pace.
Additionally, if you are a fan of Matt Barkley, we;re interested to hear your thoughts on his 5 interception day today.
