Fresh off a win (that sounds nice, for a change), the Chicago Bears made multiple roster moves on Monday.
First, the additions:
They signed DB Johnthan Banks, a player with 52 career games and 37 starts (he has played for Tampa Bay and Detroit). Interestingly, this will be his third team in this year (he has played in games for both the Bucs and the Lions already this season). He was the 43rd pick in the 2013 draft (Tampa).
The Bears also signed receiver Bralon Addison. He was waived by the Broncos at the start of the season.
Now, the other stuff:
LB Lamin Barrow (on the reserve/injured list since before the season started) was waived. Additionally, QB Josh Woodrum was waived from the practice squad. Woodrum was an undrafted free agent out of Liberty, and he has spent time this season with the Giants, the Colts, and the Bears.
Finally, the team placed QB Jay Cutler on the reserve/injured list. You might have heard of him.
