Even though the Chicago Bears have an alarming number of players on season ending injured reserve, the players still on the active roster are starting to get healthier. This week there are only two players listed as doubtful, wide out Eddie Royal and back up offensive tackle Mike Adams. Neither player practiced all week.
With Royal doubtful, perhaps this is the week the Bears will unleash rookie slot receiver Daniel Braverman on the National Football League. Last Sunday, Braverman’s first on the active roster, he only appeared in 6 snaps. Not exactly the kind of start to Bravermania the Bravermafia was hoping for.
Corner Kyle Fuller, who has yet to be activated to the active roster, is getting closer. "He's progressing,” said head coach John Fox. “We're not at that point where we'll make a decision yet." The Bears have until 3pm tomorrow afternoon to active him for Sunday’s game in Detroit.
Rookie corner Deiondre' Hall appears to finally be healthy and he should be able to play for the first time since Chicago’s week four win against the Lions. Hall played 6 snaps on defense that day, but he had an interception. His head coach said, "he has good ball skills."
The Bears only have four players listed as questionable, ILB Jonathan Anderson, WRs Josh Bellamy and Marquess Wilson, and newly signed corner Johnthan Banks.
The Lions only have one player listed as out, center Travis Swanson. Everyone else on their report is questionable, and those players are;
DE Ezekiel Ansah
S Don Carey
TE Eric Ebron
WR Marvin Jones Jr.
LB DeAndre Levy
RB Theo Riddick
RB Dwayne Washington
LB Tahir Whitehead
Each of those questionable Lions were limited at practice on Friday.
