Fun Friday Open Thread: Chicago Bears and Beyond

Join us below for you Friday Open Thread!

Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports

For many NFL fans, the period of time between the Super Bowl and the preseason is considered slow time, but for the die-hards, that's when things start getting good.  We've got the NFL Combine coming up (details on that HERE), followed by the NFL Draft, then of course OTA's, Training Camps, roster cut downs, etc.

The Chicago Bears landed a new general manager last year, and in his first year on the job, Ryan Pace did some good things. His draft was solid, his free agent acquisitions helped stop some of the bleeding, and he managed to make some progress despite the mess that he inherited from his predecessor Phil Emery.

So while there isn't technically any football being played, there is plenty of analysis and behind-the-scenes football going on each and every day, and we're hopeful the 2016 version of the Chicago Bears will be much better than the 2015 version.

If you see any news articles out there from the last couple days, drop a link into the comments section and we can discuss.

This is your Friday Morning Open Thread... Have fun!
