Should the Chicago Bears sign these 3 Ex-Rams?

The Chicago Bears have a need at defensive end, inside linebacker and tight end.

The Los Angeles Rams just released a defensive end, an inside linebacker and a tight end.

Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

The Rams have just announced that they have released DE Chris Long, ILB James Laurinaitis and TE Jared Cook. By cutting these three, the Rams will save about $22.9 million.

The 30 year Long is the older brother of Bears right tackle Kyle Long. The 29 year old Laurinaitis is the son of pro wrestling legend Road Warrior Animal, who was billed from Chicago, Illinois. Cook (28 years old) doesn't have any interesting ties to Chicago, but he has only missed 5 games in his 7 year career with 273 receptions, 3,503 yards and 16 TDs.

Long doesn't have prototypical bulk for a 3-4 defensive end at 275 pounds (6'4"), but he does have 54.5 sacks in 8 seasons. Laurinaitis (6'2", 248) has started every game in his 7 year career and he has never had less than 109 total tackles in a season. Cook has good size (6'5", 254) and speed to move all around the offense.

Of the three, Laurinaitis is probably the best fit. Long hasn't been very healthy the last couple of years, and if the Bears decide to hang on to Martellus Bennett, tight end isn't as big a need.

What do you guys think? Would you like to see, 1, 2 or all 3 of these guy in Chicago?
