Chicago Bears mock draft: DE DeForest Buckner, Oregon

In Dane Brugler's latest mock draft, he's got a tower of a defensive end going to the Chicago Bears.

DeForest Buckner is a towering figure, quite literally. The defensive end standout from the University of Oregon is 6'7", weighs 285 pounds, and is one heck of a pass rusher off the edge.

In Dane Brugler's most recent mock draft on CBS, he's got the Chicago Bears taking Bucker with their #11 overall pick:

This is a match that almost makes too much sense as the Bears need defensive end help for defensive coordinator Vic Fangio's 3-4 scheme. And Buckner has an ideal skill-set to be an impact player at the five-technique spot.

Buckner was the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year, and is not only a sure-fire 1st round draft pick, but someone that is projected to be a starter from day one for whatever team drafts him. For the Bears, he would certainly be an impact player.
