Report: Chicago Bears to meet with former Cowboys RB Lance Dunbar

The Chicago Bears are still on the market for a complimentary running back to Jeremy Langford.

On Tuesday, C.J, Anderson revealed that if all he had wanted in free agency was money, he would have signed with the Chicago Bears. This showed just how aggressive Chicago must have been in their pursuit, and how much they wanted to add another running back to the mix since they decided not to re-sign Matt Forte. Of course, Anderson ended up re-signing with the Denver Broncos, which leave the Bears still on the hunt for a compliment to Jeremy Langford.

On Wednesday, Adam Schefter reported that the Bears will be meeting with former Dallas Cowboys running back Lance Dunbar.

Dunbar was given a much bigger role in the Cowboys offense last season, but unfortunately tore both his ACL and MCL in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints.

If the Bears are making time to bring him in for a visit, there must be some indication that his knee is doing well.

Would you be open to seeing Dunbar be a complimentary back to Langford?
