Updated list of Bears draft prospect visits

Last month we looked at which draft prospect the Bears have been meeting with. What's changed?

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

In just ten days, the NFL Draft commences with the first round on Thursday, April 28.

This is exciting news for football and draftniks everywhere. For NFL teams it means finalizing their big boards and finishing up any lingering issues or questions they may have about certain prospects.

They may also be finishing up any late visits or workouts that they have with prospects.

Less than one month ago, I took a look at which prospects that the Bears had been meeting with.

I thought that perhaps it would be worth updating the list and checking out what Ryan Pace and his staff have been up to in the last three weeks. I thought that maybe there would be half a dozen or so new additions.

No, I was way off. They have met with an additional 21 prospects since I posted the last list on March 25. And those are just the ones that reporters and insiders know about!

Anyway, you will notice the addition of several big names that were perhaps notably absent from the last list, which you can find at the link above. This list was gathered from Walter Football and it would be a disservice not to link to their hard work.

Joey Bosa, DE/3-4OLB, Ohio State
Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor
Leonard Floyd, OLB/3-4OLB, Georgia
Perez Ford, OLB, Northern Illinois
Joshua Garnett, G, Stanford
Austin Hooper, TE, Stanford
Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M
Myles Jack, OLB, UCLA
William Jackson III, CB, Houston
Shaq Lawson, DE/3-4OLB, Clemson
Darron Lee, OLB, Ohio State
Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis
Robert Nkemdiche, DT/DE/3-4DE, Ole Miss
Jarran Reed, DT/3-4DE/NT, Alabama
Roy Robertson-Harris, DE, Texas-El Paso
Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame
Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss
Nick Vigil, ILB, Utah State
Cody Whitehair, G, Kansas State

Furthermore, for whatever it is worth, some of the prospects the Bears have been reported to have met with multiple times. This could be a tip towards high interest or simply just a thorough look into the prospect. The prospects that they have met with multiple times include Michigan State QB Conner Cook, Memphis QB Paxton Lynch, Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott, Reed, Robertson-Harris, Northwestern FB Dan Vitale, Notre Dame S Elijah Shumate, Alabama ILB Reggie Ragland and Arkansas TE Hunter Henry.

According to NFLN's Rand Getlin, the Bears also met with Floyd over two days.

Getlin also reports they have interest in Boise State OL Rees Odhiambo:

Ian Rapoport also has a couple of pre-draft visits with big-name prospects reported above:

With all the hype that Elliott has been getting throughout this spring it is hard to imagine he slips all the way to 11. The question could be, do the Bears like him enough to move up should he get out of the top 5? Jumping ahead of the Eagles and 49ers might be necessary if he falls past the first five.

Which prospects have you excited with just days left to go?
