Larry Mayer, the Senior Writer for ChicagoBears.com, reported that Chicago Bears' quarterback Jay Cutler organized workouts last week in Nashville, Tennessee with a number of Chicago's offensive skill players.

Cutler along with quarterbacks David Fales and Matt Blanchard, tight ends Zach Miller and Khari Lee, wide receivers Kevin White, Marquess Wilson, Marc Mariani, Cameron Meredith and Deonte Thompson, and running backs Jeremy Langford, Ka'Deem Carey and Jacquizz Rodgers, gathered from April 12th through the 14th to work out, lift weights and run pass routes at Vanderbilt University.

The group also spent time off the field hanging out, dining and partaking in team building activities to strengthen their bond.

This isn't the first time Cutler and a group of Bears got together in the offseason, but this was the first time there wasn't a peep through social media about it.

Tight end Zach Miller had this to say about Cutler getting everyone together.

"It just speaks to the type of guy he is and his leadership role on the team now. He's really embraced it. For him to reach out to all of us and gather a group of guys, it just says a lot about what he wants to do with this football team and what he thinks is important."

Marc Mariani, who had a career year last season, had this to say about the experience.

"It was nice to be able to get some work in. But it was also fun to see the guys and get out of the normal Halas Hall grind of when we come to work and get everyone together outside of the building and do some fun stuff."

Some of the fun stuff included a home run derby and a visit to The Escape Game.

I wonder how many comments it will take before someone wonders why other Bears weren't there...
