Chicago Bears' OTA Notes

The Chicago Bears began Phase 2 of their offseason workout program yesterday at Halas Hall, but today's OTA was open to the media. So we finally get some actual on field news.

Wide receiver Kevin White was working out with no limitations after missing all of last season. He claims that he is 100% and ready to play like a veteran this season. Some of the beat reporters were tweeting out how impressed they were with White so far. Sure it's just shorts, but athleticism flashes. With Alshon Jeffery staying away from voluntary OTAs, White can take advantage of a being the de facto #1 and getting his timing down with quarterback Jay Cutler.

Fellow wide out Marquess Wilson looks to have put on some bulk to his 199 pound frame. Also reporting bigger is 2nd year center Hroniss Grasu, who has but on 10 pounds of muscle and is up to 310 pounds now. He tells Pro Football Weekly's Arthur Arkush that he feels just as quick.

Here are a few other quick hitting tweets from some of the beat reporters that were at Halas Hall today.
