Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL Network's Rand Getlin is reporting that the Chicago Bears have signed 2nd round draft pick Cody Whitehair.

EDIT: The Bears announced Whitehair signed along with 6 other draft picks and 10 UDFAs.

The Bears traded back a couple of times in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft and nabbed Whitehair with the 56th overall selection.

Whitehair was the top offensive guard on most boards after a successful career at Kansas State. His last two seasons he played left tackle and in 2015 he was named First Team All Big 12. He was honorable mention All Big 12 as a freshman in 2012 and in 2013 and 2014 he was All Big 12 Second Team.

The only other member of the Bears 2016 draft class to be signed is 4th round draft pick Deiondre' Hall, the cornerback from the University Of Northern Iowa. (LINK)
