Chicago Bears minicamp day 2 news and notes

Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports

The 2nd day of the Chicago Bears' three day minicamp is over and praise for their two big wide outs continue. Alshon Jeffery looks to be in the best shape of his career and Kevin White has been flashing big play potential. it wasnt all good news today however, as the wide receiver depth took a hit when it was announced that Marquess Wilson left yesterday's practice with what we now know is a fractured left foot.

After Wednesday's practice rookie #1 draft pick Leonard Floyd met the media and he said that the Bears have given him an interesting diet to add weight to his (listed) 244 pound frame. He is required to eat every other hour, and this is the fun part, he can eat whatever he chooses. Chicago is a good place to live if you have a non-restrictive see-food diet with all the deep dish pizza, Polish sausage, hot dogs and Italian beefs readily available. Floyd said, "I believe I can add weight and still be as fast as I am."

Here are a few Tweets from the Bears' beat reporters.
