Pernell McPhee is a Grown-Ass Man

SB Nation is full of some really quality content across their 300 plus sites. I have a few bookmarked that I hit every single day, and I visit others all the time. We tap into their experts when we need NFL Draft info, when we want to know more about the newest Chicago Bears' rookies. We frequently feature their stuff on our daily Bears' Den and we seek them out when we went the skinny on the Bears next opponent.

The other NFL team sites also hit us up for some game preview stuff and to have us guest on their podcasts from time to time. We're all just one great big happy SB Nation family.

The Bears will open the 2016 season on the road against the defending AFC South Champion Houston Texans and over at our sister site, Battle Red Blog, they've already started to preview the September 11th game. Brett Kollmann, who is one of the better Xs and Os guys on SB Nation, has a tremendous Film Room series that he does, and yesterday he spotlighted Bears' outside linebacker Pernell McPhee.

Health is an obvious concern for McPhee, but I think the OLB group of the Bears can be a really strong one. With McPhee, Lamarr Houston, Willie Young, Sam Acho and rookie Leonard Floyd, there are enough bodies to keep everyone fresh all season long.

You factor in the upgrades made all along the front seven and this defense should make a big leap in play this season.
