The Chicago Bears started another OTA session today that will finish up tomorrow. The next time the team meets up it will be on June 14-16 for their mandatory minicamp. Players missing today were Alshon Jeffery, Manny Ramirez, Pernell McPhee, Leonard Floyd, Kyle Fuller and Ted Larsen. Jeffery was missing just like he has been all offseaosn, Floyd was in Georgia dealing with a family matter and McPhee is still rehabbing his knee.
Rookie running back Jordan Howard and wide out Eddie Royal were both limited. Howard tweaked his hamstring at rookie minicamp and although he is able to do some running, he hopes to be a full participant at practice next week.
Newly signed rookie defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard was one of a few Bears that met the media today and he was happy his contract was finally done, "It's about time. Dream come true." Bullard also talked about playing the 5 technique defensive end and setting the edge, saying he's currently working on his stance, footwork and reads.
Here are a few other quick hitting Tweets from the OTA.
