Chicago Bears have the most valuable franchise in the NFC North

Virginia McCaskey...

Forbes has put out their annual list of the 50 most valuable sports teams in the world and the Chicago Bears checked in at 16th overall at $2.45 Billion. They fall right before the Philadelphia Eagles, with the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago Bulls tied for 18th.

The Dallas Cowboys were #1 on the list and since the list itself is not only a slideshow, but the worst slideshow in the history of slideshows, here’s the full list of NFL teams and where they ranked overall. (h/t Levi Damien of Silver and Black Pride)

1. Cowboys
6. Patriots
8. Skins
9. Giants
10. 49ers
13. Jets
14. Texans
16. Bears
17. Eagles
25. Packers
26. Broncos
27. Ravens
29. Steelers
31. Colts
32. Seahawks
33. Dolphins
35. Falcons
39. Vikings
40. Panthers
42. Cardinals
43. Chiefs
44. Chargers
45. Saints
46. Buccaneers
47. Browns
49. Titans
50. Jaguars

So not only were the Bears 8th overall among their fellow NFL franchises, but they were the most valuable team in their division. The Packers were 10th in the NFL with the Vikings in 18th, and the Lions didn’t even crack the top 50.

Let’s hear it for the McCaskey family!
