The Chicago Bears can be assumed to have depth issues at key spots on their roster, one of which is being thin along the offensive line. The Bears signed veteran o-lineman Manny Ramirez earlier this year to compete with Hroniss Grasu at Center, but Ramirez changed his mind a couple months later and retired.
Adam Caplan has tweeted today that the team is setting up a meeting with interior lineman, and current free agent, Amini Silatolu.
UFA G Amini Silatolu (#Panthers) is scheduled to visit the #Bears today, source said.

Silatolu is a former 2nd round pick for the Carolina Panthers back in 2012, but injured his ACL last season and is now looking for work. If the meeting goes well, the Bears may look to set up some medical testing to gauge his current abilities.
While Silatolu wouldn't be an instant starter necessarily, he brings with him three seasons of NFL experience and could help add solid depth to the lineup.
Stay tuned...
UPDATE: He signed, story right here.
