Just one year ago defensive end Willie Young was trying to bounce back from a torn Achilles and trying to transition to a 3-4 OLB after playing his entire career as a 4-3 DE.
There was much talk that he could be traded or even cut.
Now, Young and the Bears have agreed to a two-year deal:
#Bears OLB Willie Young has agreed to a 2-year contract extension through 2018, source said. He was on the final year of his contract.

Young led the Bears in sacks in 2014 before his injury with 10 and was second on the team with 6.5 last season.
He has become a fan favorite for his fun personality and his fishing celebration.
Now he will be with the Bears through 2018 when he will be nearing 33 years old.
What do you think of the move?
