We've been saying it all day, but it feels so good that we'll say it again: Chicago Bears football is back!
While it's only the preseason, the next four games are critically important for many groups of players: fringe guys trying to make the roster, injured players trying to show they are recovering, new players trying to execute new systems, and returning players trying to improve on last year's performances.
Both starting wide outs, Alshon Jeffery and Kevin White, should be on the field early, but it will be interesting to see how many plays they actually run.
Let's cross our fingers and hope for an injury-free butt-whipping of the Denver Broncos, and that each and every Bears fan that leaves Soldier Field tonight will have a great feeling about the rest of the season...
This is your 2016 NFL Preseason, Game 1: Chicago Bears vs. Denver Broncos 1st Half Open Thread... Have fun!
