**SCORE UPDATE**

Chicago Bears 0

Kansas City Chiefs 0

--------------

The Bears started off their third preseason game missing a handful of starters: OL Kyle Long, TE Zach Miller, WR Eddie Royal, CB Kyle Fuller, CB Bryce Callahan, LB Pernell McPhee, along with rookie Safety Deon Bush.

Although Long is nursing a shoulder injury, the concern is not significant and he should be good to go by the start of the regular season. However, Pernell McPhee's knee issue is dragging on significantly, and he could potentially miss the season opener.

Back to Bears vs Chiefs- In the first quarter, the Chiefs offense moved the ball pretty well, with Alex Smith completing passes to six different players in their first two drives. The Bears, on the other hand, had trouble getting very much going, but we did see a couple of string runs by running back Jeremy Langford.
