The Chicago Bears are an up-and-down team right now, to put it in simple terms. In preseason week 1, they struggled the entire game, both offensively and defensively, versus the Denver Broncos, but then looked like a totally different team in week 2 versus the Patriots. Against New England, they moved the ball well, and played good defense, two things they failed to do against the Broncos.
And today versus the Chiefs, the offense is back to sputtering, and the defense is giving up yards in bunches to Alex Smith and Co.
The Bears decided to pull several defensive starters in the 2nd quarter, likely having seen enough and knowing they need to do some serious roster analysis over the next few days. Since the starters weren't able to stop the Chiefs, why not send in the second stringers?
This is your Chicago Bears vs Kansas City Chiefs 2nd Half Open Thread... Have fun!
