After seeing Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears fail to get any momentum going versus the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday, it was refreshing to see backup QB Connor Shaw come in and move the ball and provide a spark to the offense. Granted, it was deep in the 4th quarter when most starters were sitting, but it was fun to watch, nonetheless.
Then with under three minutes left in the game, Shaw took a hit that was described as "gruesome" by those that saw replays of the injury to his left leg.
#Bears coach John Fox told reporters Connor Shaw is headed to the hospital. He'll have surgery immediately to repair his leg & learn damage

Needless to say, the NFL Network would not show a replay due to the graphic nature, so rather than speculate, we will just send positive thoughts to Connor and our best wishes. We hope the medical staff were able to stabilize the injury quickly and that he didn't suffer for very long.

Appears Connor Shaw's injury is severe. Tough blow. He was moving the team. Brian Hoyer left earlier via injury

Shaw was 5-for-6 for 68 yards with a TD pass today. The injury did not look good.
