McGuire: Andy Reid lookalike conducts Chiefs press conference - TheComeback - An Andy Reid lookalike was on hand for Kansas City Chiefs camp, and filled in for the head coach for a press conference.
Alper: Michael Bennett pulled from practice after "skirmish" - ProFootballTalk - Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett hasn't been shy about sharing his desire for a new contract, but those efforts have been unsuccessful to this point. That may not be related to what happened at Thursday's practice, but Bennett certainly found a way to air out some of his frustrations. Ken's Note: It's all Jay Cutler's fault.
Florio: Bosa impasse continues - ProFootballTalk - With not many topics for negotiation in rookie contracts and the Chargers and defensive end Joey Bosa at odds on each of them, there's no easy solution to the current impasse. Already, it's the longest holdout by any draft pick since the new rookie wage scale was adopted in 2011.
Smith: Shane Ray says he can play as well as Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware - ProFootballTalk - The Broncos traded up in the first round of last year's NFL draft to select pass rusher Shane Ray, but as a rookie Ray didn't do a lot: Ray played in just 31 percent of the Broncos' defensive snaps and had just four sacks.
Finley: Bears DE Mitch Unrein's wife Corey takes best Olympic shot - Chicago Sun-Times - Before he arrived at Olivet Nazarene University, Mitch Unrein spent the summer going to training camps.

Triplets rankings: Cowboys, Packers boast top groups - NFL.com - Football's back! And so, too, are my rankings of the NFL's best triplets. For the uninitiated, the great '90s Cowboys were headlined by QB Troy Aikman, RB Emmitt Smith and WR Michael Irvin -- a.k.a. "The Triplets." A couple years back, I was inspired to concoct a current Triplets pecking order. Now, in my fifth edition, I'm ranking the trios based on projected Week 1 starters. (Sorry, Steelers and Pats fans: Suspensions hurt.)
McGuire: Titans make ALS-stricken Tim Shaw a "Titan for Life" - TheComeback - Tim Shaw, a former member of the Tennessee Titans battling ALS, signed with the team on Wednesday and was designated a "Titan for Life".
Lanham: Ravens kicker Justin Tucker states he could make 84-yard field goal in Denver - TheComeback - To date, the longest kick to be made in the NFL was 64 yards, a record set by kicker Matt Prater when he played with the Denver Broncos back in 2013. But apparently Baltimore kicker Justin Tucker thinks he could beat Prater’s record. In fact, he thinks he could nail an 84-yard field goal if he was in Denver and the conditions were favorable.
WIENERWURST
Florio: NFL congratulates Jordan Rodgers for winning The Bachelorette, seriously - ProFootballTalk - Jordan Rodgers had various shots of espresso with multiple NFL teams. He never played in a regular-season NFL game, and his only current connection to the league is a brother whom Jordan Rodgers surely frustrated in recent days by taking family business in front of the cameras. Ken's Note: Jordan has won as many Bachelorette contests as Aaron has Super Bowl rings. Nice.
Coppens: Report says Aaron and Jordan Rodgers don't speak due to Olivia Munn - TheComeback - Jordan Rodgers may have won the heart of The Bachelorette, but his family drama remains a mystery. A new report suggests Olivia Munn is to blame, somehow. Ken's Note: Nothing says Wienerwurst more than Aaron & Jordan Rodgers and their love lives...
Carson: Vikings wide receiver walks to practice every day, refuses to buy a car - FOX Sports - German wide receiver Moritz Boehringer walks to work to save money.
Brett Favre Invites Adrian Peterson to Hall of Fame Enshrinement - Adrian Peterson is almost a certainty to join Brett Favre at the Pro Football Hall of Fame one day, but it won’t be this Saturday. Peterson will be attending the Vikings night practice at Minnesota State University, Mankato when Favre is presented for enshrinement into "football heaven."
Thompson: Brett Favre gets some 'jeans' therapy before Hall of Fame induction - Chicago Tribune - Wrangler surprised Brett Favre with a life-sized statue of a pair of jeans to honor his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Smith: Ref from Hail Mary game agitated by lingering questions in Detroit - ProFootballTalk - One of the biggest plays of the 2015 NFL season happened in Detroit in December, when Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw a 61-yard game-winning Hail Mary. But it was the play before that play that still gets questioned in Detroit.
Thompson: Donovan McNabb wanted to be a Bear, still is no fan of Jay Cutler - Chicago Tribune - Donovan McNabb said he wishes the Bears would've signed him when Jay Cutler broke his thumb late in the 2011 season, but then-coach Lovie Smith decided to ride

Rosenbloom: Saying things about the Bennett brothers that Jay Cutler wouldn’t - Chicago Tribune - Ken's Note: Jay Cutler wouldn't "go there" when talking about the Bennett Brothers idiocy: Rosenbloom? He goes there. "The Bennett brothers can be really funny. Really stupid, too."
