The Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns have one glaring similarity this offseason: They both have 0-3 records entering the final preseason game of 2016.
As a fanbase, both are used having a not-so-good record, but it's also somewhat soothing to hear the words "it's only preseason", indicating that there might be better times ahead once the actual regular season starts.
For the Bears, head coach John Fox has indicated that his team will be playing a lot of backups against Cleveland, as they already have a good idea of what they have at the top of the depth chart.
So while this game won't be necessarily full of fireworks from a television perspective, it will be critically important for players on the fringe who are trying one more time to make an impact on the coaches, and trying to avoid being among the final wave of cuts over the next few days.
