The Chicago Bears currently have a free roster spot open on their Practice Squad, as Tuesday brought two cuts and only one addition.
Running back Raheem Mostert (5'10", 197) was signed to the Practice Team, and running back Senorise Perry and offensive lineman Laurence Gibson were cut.
Mostert, according to the press release:
"Mostert appeared in 11 games for the Cleveland Browns (2015), Baltimore Ravens (2015) and Miami Dolphins (2015), recording 19 kickoff returns for 530 yards (27.9 avg). He originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles out of Purdue. He also spent time on the practice squads of the Eagles (2015) and New York Jets (2016)."
Laurence Gibson was originally a 7th round pick by the Dallas Cowboys in 2015, and spent time on the Chiefs Practice Squad.
Senorise Perry spent two seasons with the Chicago Bears after signing as a undrafted free agent in 2014. He spent his rookie season on the team's main roster, and closed out the season with a team-high 17 special teams tackles. Perry spent 2015 on Injured Reserve with a broken foot, and landed on their Practice Team for 2016 before being cut.
The Bears current Practice Squad currently consists of nine players, which means they have room for one more.
