When it comes to the 2016 Chicago Bears preseason games, there was some good, there was some bad... Well, there was a lot of bad, but it's preseason. I've never put much stock into the preseason games, although I would have liked to see the offensive line gel a bit more than they did. The Kyle Long injury put the starting five a bit behind, but if they all get healthy, I think they'll be OK.
Preseason, in my opinion, is all about knocking the rust off. It's all about getting your rookies acclimated to the speed of the game. It's all about starting to get comfortable and building trust with the new players around you. And hopefully all these things can happen while keeping everyone healthy. It's not about wins and loses.
As fans, we generally feel better with wins, but winning preseason games guarantee you nothing.
Before preseason began, I figured the Bears to hover around .500 all season long, and now that preseason is over, I figure the Bears will hover around .500 all season long.
What about you guys, do you feel any different now?
