Chicago Bears vs Dallas Cowboys Injury Report: Alshon Jeffery questionable

After leading the NFL with 9 players listed as questionable for their week one game, the Chicago Bears only had one player pop up on their injury report for the Monday Night game last week.

But then the Bears started dropping one after the other to varying levels of injury. They ended up with seven players leaving the game against the Eagles and an eight was revealed to have an injury the next day.

But then it got even worse.

Besides those eight players that were held out of practice, another six were limited for Wednesday’s practice. Thursday’s practice saw the overall number of injured Bears increase to 15.

Today the official injury report came out for the Bears and the Dallas Cowboys who will meet on Sunday Night Football and Bears’ fans, it didn’t get much better.

Here’s who is listed on the latest injury report for Chicago. Keep in mind that doubtful means a player has a less than a 50% chance to play and questionable now means that a player has a greater than 50% chance to play. Out still means the player is out.

OUT
ILB - Danny Trevathan

DOUBTFUL
QB - Jay Cutler
NT - Eddie Goldman
RB - Ka’Deem Carey

We already know that Goldman is sidelined for a possible 4 weeks with a high ankle sprain and Cutler has that sprained thumb that will prevent him from lining up on Sunday, although head coach John Fox says that Cutler has been “lobbying” to play. My guess, Brian Hoyer starts at QB.

QUESTIONABLE
Limited at Friday’s practice
WR - Alshon Jeffery
S - Adrian Amos
S - Chris Prosinski
CB - Bryce Callahan
CB - Kyle Fuller
CB - Tracy Porter
OLB - Willie Young

Jeffery missed yesterday’s practice with a knee injury that he sustained against the Eagles. He expects to play against Dallas. There were reports that Fuller was real close to playing last week, so I’d imagine he’s really close again this week.

QUESTIONABLE
Full participation at Friday’s practice
RT Bobby Massie
LG - Josh Sitton
DL Will Sutton.

I would expect these three to all play on Sunday night.

Here’s how the Cowboys are looking for the game.

OUT
QB - Tony Romo
DE - Charles Tapper

DOUBTFUL

QUESTIONABLE
DE - Jack Crawford
RT - Doug Free
CB - Orlando Scandrick
LT - Tyron Smith
