Chicago Bears vs Dallas Cowboys Inactives: Jay Cutler among inactive

The Chicago Bears have announced their inactives for the Bears vs Cowboys game.

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

Rumors this week were that Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was lobbying coaches to let him play on Sunday night versus the Dallas Cowboys, despite a sprained thumb on his throwing hand suffered a week ago against the Philadelphia Eagles.  But his politicking didn't work, as the Bears have officially deactivated the starting quarterback ahead of the Sunday Night Football contest.

The full list of Bears inactives:

- QB Jay Cutler (thumb)

- OL Eric Kush (healthy scratch)

- NB Bryce Callahan (concussion)

- CB Kyle Fuller (knee)

- RB Ka'Deem Carey (hamstring)

- DT Eddie Goldman (ankle)

- LB Danny Trevathan (thumb)

Last week, Adrian Amos was knocked out with a concussion, but he will play tonight versus the Cowboys.  Also worth noting, rookie Nick Kwiatkoski will get the start at inside linebacker in place of injured Danny Trevathan.

Rookie safety Deon Bush is also active for the first time this season.

Out of the entire Bears 2016 draft class, everyone is active tonight, except for wideout Daniel Braverman.

Stay tuned...
