Tracking the Chicago Bears Cuts, Waiver Wire, Practice Squad, and Free Agent Signings

The Chicago Bears will be among the busiest of NFL teams today and tomorrow, and we already know that in order to keep up with general manager Ryan Pace, we need to have one place where we track all of his roster transactions.

And that's why we are here.  Welcome!

The Bears will be needing to address a couple of positions on their roster, which was 'finalized' yesterday for the purposes of meeting the league's 53-player deadline. But it's certainly not permanent, and Sunday will show just how serious the team is with getting things the way they want them. They may make a coupe of waiver wire claims, but most of their transactions will come in the form of signing free agents.

And remember, for each addition to the roster at this point, there must be a corresponding subtraction to stay at that league-mandated 53-player limit.

They will also look to fill out their Practice Team sooner than later. They can start signiing players to the PS at 12pm ET today. Whoever is on that list and was cut yesterday will probably comprise the Practice Team.
