So, anything interesting going on today? Does anyone have errands to run?
With the state of the weather in Kansas City, the Chiefs/Steelers game was moved. As a result, the first game to be played will be the NFC matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers. Dallas has the services of Rod Marinelli, who at least has seen Aaron Rodgers up close a number of times from the former’s time as the Bears’ defensive coordinator. Whether or not that will be of help to the folks with the star on the side of their helmets remains to be seen, but one of these two teams is going to get a chance against the Falcons.
After that matchup, the Steelers face off against Kansas City in a showdown that involves two very different quarterbacks (Alex Smith and Ben Roethlisberger) but the same goal—the chance to face the Patriots for the AFC crown.
What are your thoughts? Also, while you must Open Thread responsibly (Community Guidelines and all), you are free to send any negative thoughts you want out into the ether for any of these teams, at this point.
