Chicago Bears Photo-caption Extravaganza

San Francisco 49ers v Chicago Bears Photo by Joe Robbins/Getty Images

It’s been a while since we’ve done one of these caption contests, over three years to be exact! Would you believe, that back in the day we did them frequently enough that Windy City Gridiron actually had a Photo-caption Extravaganza section?

The last time we did this, the Chicago Bears were coming off a 10-6 season, which was the last time the Bears had a winning record. So either we cursed the Bears with that last one, or we jinxed the team by not having any since.

Regardless, we’ll throw one out there on this slow news day for your enjoyment. But knowing my luck, some giant Bears’ story will drop right after this publishes.

That guy in the accompanying picture is Bears’ quarterback Matt Barkley. He’s a free agent, so he may not be back in 2017, even though some fans were ready to anoint him the “Future.”

Give us your best caption in the comment section and everyone be sure to Rec your favorites. The winner may or may not receive a handful or peppermints straight from Dane’s pocket, but you will have the Title of Grand Master Of Captions to hold on to until we run another contest.

Good Luck!
