The Chicago Bears have signed eight nine players to reserve/futures contracts and they are as follows;
Dres Anderson, WR, Utah (6’2”, 190)
De’Vante Basuby, CB, Pittsburg State (6’2”, 190)
David Cobb, RB, Minnesota (5’11”, 229)
Cornelius Edison, C, Portland State (6’3”, 309)
Jacoby Glenn, CB, Central Florida (6’, 185)
William Poehls, T, Montana (6’8”, 334)
Rashaad Reynolds, CB, Oregon State (5’11”, 187)
Cyril Richardson, G, Baylor (6’5”, 343)
EDIT (1/6/17): Kapron Lewis-Moore, DL, Notre Dame (6’4”, 300)
Cobb, Glenn, Reynolds and Richardson all have 2 years experience under their belts, while the others just finished their 1st year as professionals. Bausby, Edison and Glenn all suited up for the Bears at some point during the 2016 season.
Glenn had 3 starts (7 games) last season making 26 tackles, forcing one fumble, intercepting one pass and defending 6 passes. Bausby appeared in 4 games, making 12 tackles and Edison appeared in 6 games.
Cobb played in 7 games for the Titans in 2015, making 1 start. He was a 5th round pick of theirs that year and he had 52 rushing attempts for 146 yards (2.8ypc). He ran a 4.81 forty at the 2015 NFL Combine.
At Anderson’s 2015 Pro Day he ran the 40 in 4.51. Richardson was a 5th round pick of the Bills in 2014.
