Why do you hate the ‘85 Bears?

Super Bowl XX

In this special Super Bowl edition of my T Formation Conversation podcast (Subscribe now on iTunes!), I not only touch on Sunday’s big game between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons, but I reflect back on a couple of past Super Bowls.

The first one wasn’t as fond a memory, as I hit on the 2006 Super Bowl between the Chicago Bears and the Indianapolis Colts. Our own Jack Silverstein has been crushing it with his series looking back on that team. You can peruse his stuff right here.

The other team I look at is arguably the greatest team in the history of the NFL, the Super Bowl XX winning 1985 Chicago Bears. Watching that collection of characters dominate the opposition was a fond memory from my youth, but lately, I find that more and more Bears’ fans are growing tired of that team.

Do you hate the ‘85 Bears?

If you do let us know why, but if not, let us know that too.

I can understand being sick of hearing about that team, but it is what it is. I’m just as disgusted with the current state of the Bears as the next guy, but did you know...

As Bears’ fans, we can still revel in the past and be pissed off at the present. The two aren’t mutually exclusive.

Check out the show and let me know what you guys think.
