When the Chicago Bears completed their 2017 NFL Draft, most fans and analysts scratched their heads. There was a surprising early trade, a couple of small school prospects, and plenty of need players left on the board as general manager Ryan Pace made his picks. The consensus was that it wasn’t a very good crop of rookies. The potential was there, but as the old saying goes, potential will get you fired.
In my latest T Formation Conversation podcast (Subscribe now on iTunes!), I’m joined by fellow WCG’er Jacob Infante, who has been analyzing the Bears rookie class all season long. Plus he covers the NFL for Cover 32, with a specialization in the NFL Draft. So there was no one better to hep me grade the entire Bears rookie class.
We not only talked about the draft picks, but we also spent a little time discussing the undrafted free agents that have spent some time on the 53 man roster.
Give the show a listen, and then give us your letter grades for the Bears rookies.
