Chicago Bears Injury Report: Danny Trevathan and Dion Sims are questionable

New, comments

Here’s the full injury report for the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions in advance of this Sunday’s game.

It wasn’t all bad news on the Chicago Bears injury report today. Starting right guard Kyle Long, who missed most of last weeks game, was back at practice and off the injury report for this Sunday. Also off the injury report was defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris and corner/special team captain Sherrick McManis.

Inside linebacker Danny Trevathan (calf), nickleback Bryce Callahan (ankle), and tight end Dion Sims (illness) still haven’t practiced all week and are all listed as questionable. Other questionable Bears are offensive lineman Tom Compton (ankle) and safety DeAndre Houston-Carson (illness). Of these five questionable Bears, the first three are the least likely to play on Sunday against the Detroit Lions.

If Trevathan does miss the game, it will be Christian Jones calling the signals for the defense again.

For the Lions, defensive end Ezekiel Ansah is out, as is running back Dwayne Washington. Ansah is Detroit’s best pass rusher, so this bodes well for Chicago’s pass protection.

The Lions have two players listed as questionable, safety Don Carey (knee) and linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin (ankle).
