Finley: Bears LB Danny Trevathan returns to practice a month after calf injury - Sun Times - After practicing for the first time since Oct. 27, Bears inside linebacker Danny Trevathan believes he’ll play Sunday against the 49ers.

Jahns: Recently waived WR Tre McBride was in argument heard at Halas Hall - Sun Times - Asked why McBride was waived, Dowell Loggains said, “[the] general manager makes those decisions and the head coach. Not myself.”

Stankevitz: Are Mitchell Trubisky's footwork/accuracy issues a long-term concern? - NBC Sports Chicago - Mitchell Trubisky struggled with his accuracy and footwork at times on Sunday. Could that become a significant problem for him going forward?

Dannehy's Across The Middle: Tightening Pace’s Leash - Da Bears Blog - The Bears could’ve had the best coaches in the history of football and they still would’ve lost to the Eagles by 20 points. Say what you will about John Fox and company - and it’s probably all fair - but the hard truth is that the Bears don’t have enough good players. A lot of that is due to injury. Losing their top two receivers and all four starting linebackers is a tough blow. But still, they should be able to put up a fight!

Telander: Is Tru false? Rookie showing cause for concern - This is what nobody has wanted to say all season, or at least not since Trubisky took over the starter’s job: Maybe he’s a bust. Ken’s Note: Why is anybody not named The Onion paying this person to write about sports? Seriously, there’s hot takes and then there’s absolute hogwash jorurnalism. Nobody has any idea what we have in Trubisky, nobody will until at least the end of next season at the earliest. Normally I don’t expound on things, but this one is just annoying, bringing up the “B” word after ANY QB has 7 starts when he has shown signs of having some talent. Last year Jared Goff completed 54.6 percent of his passes, 155 YPG 5TD 7INT with a 63.6 rating. Carson Wentz completed 62 percent 236.4 YPG 16TD 14 INT in 16 starts, with a 79.3 rating. Trubisky has played SEVEN games in his career, 52.8 percentage 162 YPG 4TD 4INT with a 70.8 rating. In other words, so far he's better than Goff and not quite as good as Wentz so far statistically. By this Talendar’s logic, Goff is more of a bust than Trubisky at this point in their respective rookie years? The guy who's an MVP candidate this year? My point? NOBODY KNOWS if Trubisky will be good or not. Will Mitch succeed? I have no idea. Will he fail? I have no idea. Will he be meh? Again, I have no idea. Neither does anybody else. To throw the “B” word out there is crappy journalism.
