If you’re like me, you can take a step back and look at the Chicago Bears and have a feeling of contentment. I’m content with the current direction of the franchise because I see hope on the horizon. Sure this team only has 12 wins the last three seasons, but I see a the vision behind the rebuild. General manager Ryan Pace hasn’t hit home runs on all his decisions, but there have been plenty of base hits among his at bats.
Jordan Howard, Cody Whitehair, Adrian Amos, Eddie Jackson, Akiem Hicks, Mitchell Trubisky, Sam Acho, Leonard Floyd, and Tarik Cohen are a few players that helped his batting average.
There have been a few strikeouts and warning track fly balls mixed in as well, but I’m good with the path the team is on.
In my latest T Formation Conversation podcast (Subscribe now on iTunes!). I discuss the job done by Ryan Pace so far and where I think the team is headed.
Give the show a listen and make sure to vote in the poll. When we last polled you guys, the Bears were 1-4 and Pace had a 72% approval rating.
