Mock it! Ken’s entirely unrealistic mock draft

I’m not much of a mock drafter, but I thought I would give it a try to pass some time.

The first (and only) mock I did was so stupidly good for Chicago (and therefore entirely unrealistic but amusing) I thought I would share.

I did mine through Fanspeak's On The Clock simulator, 7 rounds, DraftTek's board, Fanspeak's team needs, and this absolutely ridiculous draft is what I got.

Overall pick #3: R1P3, DL Myles Garrett, Texas A&M

Overall pick #36: R2P4, QB Mitch Trubisky North Carolina

Overall pick #67: R3P3, S Marcus Maye, Florida

Overall pick #109: R4P4, WR Zay Jones, East Carolina

Overall pick #115: R4P10, CB Marquez White, Florida ST

Overall pick #148: R5P3, S Obi Melifonwu, Connecticut

Overall pick #224: R7P3, DL Deatrich Wise, Arkansas

OK, well let's start with the obvious.

Round 1, the draft had Cleveland take Watson (unlikely) and SF take Allen (unlikely), letting Garrett drop to us!

Round 2, Trubisky still on the board? Are you kidding me? Yes, please!

Round 3, Maye of Florida. This is about right for the kid, and we do need help.

Round 4a, Zay Jones... I sincerely doubt Jones will make it to the fourth round, but I would be thrilled to pick him up here.

Round 4b, White is an athletic freak, he's not ready to go but he has the build and the tools to be a good corner.

Round 5, Melifonwu available in round 5? Only in my dreams. Heck, some boards are putting him up to late first round. he will be long gone by the end of day 2.

Round 7, Wise... Deatrich Wise will ONLY be considered a 7th rounder until the combine. Mark my words now, Wise will blow up the combine and shoot up draft boards. Not sure he's really worth it, he is a physical freak but will that translate on the field.
