We’re less than two weeks away from the NFL New Year, so we should start to get some movement on the Chicago Bears’ pending free agents and some possible cap casualties relatively soon. Then once March 9th hits, the Bears can start signing free agents away from other teams and trades will be permitted. The Bears have plenty of pressing needs this offseason, so hopefully they can address a handful before the NFL Draft (April 27-29).
While we’re sure to get some free agent movement right as the NFL New Year opens, teams may wait until the draft to execute any player trades.
