The first free agent signing from Chicago Bears’ general manager Ryan Pace was outside linebacker Pernell McPhee. Besides filling an obvious need for the Bears, he also came from a successful Baltimore Ravens organization, with a Super Bowl ring from their 2012 season.
Last offseason, Pace’s first free agent splash was with another Super Bowl champ, inside linebacker Danny Trevathan. He just so happened to win a ring during the 2015 season with the Denver Broncos.
Is there something that players from winning teams bring with them? An attitude, a work ethic, an understanding on how to win?
In the latest episode of my T Formation Conversation podcast (Subscribe now on iTunes!), I look at some players that could be pried away form the team that won two of the least three Super Bowls, the New England Patriots.
Should the Bears try and snag a few Patriots, or will New England head coach Bill Belichick only allow the bad ones to leave?
Give the show a listen and let me know what you guys think?
Do any of the Patriots I mentioned fit in with the 2017 Chicago Bears?
