So far the Chicago Bears haven’t done anything in an official capacity, except release quarterback Jay Cutler. They’ve lost some of their own players to free agency, most of whom were expected to be gone, and they lost out on a few free agents that they were bidding on.
All in all, I’d say general manager Ryan Pace, and the entire Bears organization, had to come away a little disappointed in day 1. Most fans didn;t like it, but they stuck to their budget, and stuck to their plan.
Even though nothing is official yet, here’s what was reported.
The Bears added:
QB - Mike Glennon (Our story)
WR - Markus Wheaton (Our story)
SS - Quintin Demps (Our story)
TE - Dion Sims (Our story)
The Bears lost:
WR - Alshon Jeffery (Signed with the Eagles)
OL - Ted Larsen (Signs with the Dolphins)
DL - Cornelius Washington (Signed by the Lions)
TE - Logan Paulsen (Signed by the 49ers)
QB - Brian Hoyer (Signed by the 49ers)
QB - Matt Barkley (Signed by the 49ers)
What letter grade will you give Ryan Pace after day one of free agency?
