2017 NFL Draft: Chicago Bears’ defensive options

NCAA Football: Florida at Louisiana State Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

They say the third in a trilogy is often the worst, but they also say the third time’s the charm. So with this being St. Patrick’s Day, I’m leaning towards the latter when it comes to my latest podcast.

For a third consecutive T Formation Conversation (Subscribe now on iTunes!), I was joined by WCG’s very own draft guru, EJ Snyder, to talk the 2017 NFL Draft, and this time we talked about some option of defense for the Chicago Bears.

We had a blast talking about the Bears options for the 3rd overall pick, EJ talked about a small school guy he has his eye on and we discussed some options in the secondary.

I also asked EJ’s thoughts on the chances the returning Roy Robertson-Harris makes the team in 2017 and in our rapid fire closing segment, I asked EJ to give me his dream scenario draft pick for every position on the Bears defense, and also a player he’d be pleasantly surprised with.

In case that embed isn’t working, here’s the tweet with the show.

EJ and I have one more draftcentric show in the works. Next week we’ll reset the Bears’ draft needs now that free agency has settled down a bit.

Let EJ and myself know your thoughts on the defensive players we discussed in the comment section.

Last night I was a guest on CLTV’s SportsFeed, talking about the Bears’ free agency so far and some options for them with the third overall pick.
