Nobody likes it when their football team is picking this high in the draft. 99.9% of the time, it means you had a bad season.
So the Bears took their opportunity to move up one spot to #2 overall, giving up their third and a fourth round pick in this draft and a third round pick in 2018 to jump the 49ers.
Bears get: No. 2

49ers get: No. 3, 67, 111 and 2018 third-rounder
And with the #2 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select: Mitchell Trubisky, QB, UNC.
Wow.
I don’t think anybody was expecting a trade-up, and that if they were to draft a quarterback it would be either DeShaun Watson or Deshone Kizer.
But that’s the pick. Welcome to Chicago, Mitchell Trubisky.
What are your reactions to the pick?
