2017 NFL Draft: Chicago Bears select Tarik Cohen with the 119th pick in the 4th round

NCAA Football: Celebration Bowl-Alcorn State vs North Carolina A&T Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

With the 119th selection of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears pick Tarik Cohen, running back from North Carolina A&T with the 119th pick in the 4th round.

Cohen is small, at just 5’6”, 179 pounds, but he was highly productive becoming his conference’s all time leading rusher (5,619 yards). He ran a 4.42 forty at the NFL Combine and his quickness garnered him the nickname, “The Human Joystick.”

With Jordan Howard the clear cut #1 tailback for the Bears, adding a 3rd down, change of pace runner like Cohen, could be a big boost to their offense. He’s such a good receiver out of the backfield that he can line up and run routes from the slot.
